My Weight Loss Journey Week #12

Yes you are not mistaken, I did miss a week or two. :)   Life has been nuts….I’ll be posting more about that later.  This week I lost 6 pounds!  Not sure how but I did.  LOL  But the week before I gained like 5 pounds so it’s not nearly has exciting.  My goal is to lose this week because I don’t think I’ve lost two weeks in a row in quite awhile.  I would really love to be under 250 by next Sunday!!

This week has totally been a bad eating week. We ate out a lot because mommy has been in pain.  But I tried to watch my portions and it looks like it worked.  This week I’m going to journal, journal, journal, drink, drink, drink (water that is), and cook at home!  Then hopefully by next week I’ll be feeling good enough again to work out.  Baby steps, baby steps, baby steps.

My Weight Loss Journey Week #8

This week I somehow miraculously lost 0.4 pounds!  I hate horribly even polishing off a pan of brownies one night so I’m not sure how this happened but I’ll take it.  However, knowing I did horribly I realize I need to make changes this week.  My mom bought the weight watchers deluxe member kit hoping it would help her track better throughout the day but she didn’t like it.  It is now mine. :) The very thing she didn’t like is my favorite thing about it.  She didn’t like that there were so many places to fill in but I like that it has me journal and think about how hungry I am and when I eat and stuff.

My plan for this week is to record throughout the day in my journal and then transfer that at night or the next morning to the internet tracker.  This will help me to look back over what I did that day and see where I can improve.   Here’s to a great week!!

My Weight Loss Journey Week #7

This is one of those weeks I’d rather not blog about. It was not a great week at all as far as exercise and eating go.  I gained 2 pounds this week.  (hangs head in shame)  I ate horribly!  In case you were wondering you can not lose weight while eating McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Burger King, nor can you lose weight by eating a ton of sweets. So at least I learned that this week. Okay that was totally sarcastic I really knew better I just didn’t care.  Monday started pretty good. I did my workout at least but then Tuesday I just stretched and Wednesday I got up to do my workout and couldn’t because my knee was in excruciating pain.  It is better now though.  My shoulder is still giving me trouble.  I supposed I just got overwhelmed couldn’t work out so I hate horrible too. I didn’t track what I ate. Basically I acted like I wasn’t trying to lose weight.

But now it is time to look forward.  What is the plan now.  This week I go to the doctor on Tuesday to talk to him about my shoulder and other pain I’ve been having. So that’s a start on getting back on the workout train. Tomorrow morning I will get up and do as much of the workout as I can without injuring myself further.  I WILL track what I eat and stay within my points.  (repeat to self 100 times)  I will not beat myself up about this week.  It is time to move onward and upward or downward depending on how you look at it.  LOL


My Weight Loss Journey Week #6

I lost 3 pounds this week!! I could hardly believe it. I didn’t eat the best but I did stay within my points and journal what I ate. Just goes to show that that makes a BIG difference. Write down what you eat!! When I didn’t I gained a pound last week and when I did this week I lost three. The proof is in the pudding as they say, just make sure it’s sugar free and fat free. LOL My goals for this week are to drink my water and do my new fitness plan Slim in 6. I also want to work on eating more fruits and veggies this week. I need to go shopping for some and then my plan is to eat one serving at every meal and one at two different times for snacks. What are your weight loss or fitness goals this week?
